Identipix Terms of Service

Welcome to Identipix! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Identipix's event photo delivery platform ("Service"), which functions through WhatsApp.

By using our Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Overview of Service

Identipix allows event attendees to receive their event photos using facial recognition. Users scan a QR code, which opens a WhatsApp chat with our bot. They upload a selfie, which is matched with photos uploaded by event photographers. Matched photos are then sent directly via WhatsApp.

2. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old or the age of digital consent in your country. By using the Service, you affirm you meet this requirement.

3. Data and Privacy

  • We do not create user accounts.
  • Uploaded selfies are deleted immediately after delivery.
  • Facial recognition data is processed locally and never used for training, marketing, or shared with third parties.

4. User Conduct

By using our service, you agree:

  • To upload only your own selfie.
  • Not to upload inappropriate or offensive images.
  • Not to use the platform for illegal purposes.

You may request removal of any photo containing your likeness by contacting support@identipix.com.

5. Photographer and Organizer Responsibilities

  • Photographers and organizers are solely responsible for the photos they upload.
  • You retain ownership of your photographs.
  • By uploading, you grant Identipix a temporary license to process and deliver these photos.
  • Uploading content that is illegal, abusive, or violates privacy rights is strictly prohibited.

6. Accuracy and Liability

While we use facial recognition to match and deliver photos:

  • We do not guarantee 100% accuracy.
  • We are not liable for incorrect matches, delays, or access issues.
  • This service is offered "as is" and may change or be discontinued without notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform code, interfaces, and designs are property of Identipix. Users may not reverse engineer or reproduce the service.

8. Termination

We may terminate access to our service at our discretion for violations of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you access the service from outside Canada, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
